We’re offering a pilot program to improve the resilience of infrastructure through installation of solar photovoltaic/energy storage systems.
The K-12 Solar Schools program supports the installation of 1 kW photovoltaic (PV) systems throughout Illinois at institutions serving grades K through 12.
The K-12 Wind Schools program supports the installation of 1-5 kW wind turbines throughout Illinois at institutions serving grades K through 12.
The Foundation’s Net Zero Energy Building Program will award grants to support new construction buildings as well as retrofit projects that achieve site net zero energy performance or better.
The Foundation’s Net Zero Energy Wastewater Treatment Program will award grants to wastewater treatment plants (WWTP) committed to achieving site net zero energy (NZE) performance or better.
The Illinois Clean Energy Community Foundation supports projects in several project categories, with incentives being determined on a case-by-case basis: Solar Thermal, Biomass, Advancing Renewable Energy, and Emerging Technologies.
Grants are available to install photovoltaic (PV) systems at existing nature/welcome centers owned by park districts, forest preserves, and other 501 (c)(3) non-profit organizations preserving natural areas in Illinois.
